GUIDELINES FOR FILING WARRANTY CLAIMS


COVERAGE


Coverage of warranty will be limited to damaged item/s only. Please do not remove the stickers protecting the product from scratches nor cutting the item/s during transport before installing; doing so will void the warranty coverage.

This warranty does not cover re-inspection and mobilization expenses needed to repair or replace the claimed items.


Freight/Logistics and Other Transportation

Please inspect the item/s upon arrival for damages before accepting the delivery. SEA Olympus Marketing, Inc. will not be held liable for any damages after accepting the items. See “Warranty Service Request Form” in the event of a warranty claim due to freight and other transportation damage/s under SEA Olympus Marketing, Inc.

Warranty will not be covered under the given circumstance/s;

  1. Damage/s of items due to inter-branch transfer under client’s premises.
  2. Damage/s occurred while transporting, wherein transport means is not paid/hired/owned by SEA Olympus Marketing, Inc.

In the event that these happen, please file your claim directly with the freight carrier / logistics.



FILING A CLAIM

Please provide the necessary information provided in the “Warranty Service Request Form”.

    • Description of Fault:
      Brief summary of the problem and/or incident that triggered for a warranty claim request.
    • Proof of Purchase
      Sales Invoice listing the date of purchase and type/description of product. If the proof of purchase is not available or does not contain the specific description of the product, we ask that you describe the product and the color.
    • Pictures/illustration
      Clear image of the damaged area/part of the PC sheet and a clear picture of the whole item/PC sheet.
  1. For warranty claims, the original purchaser should present the original proof of purchase together with the duly filled up complaint form. Submission can be through email, warranty@olympus.com.ph or through an online submission via our website www.sunshield.com.ph. Failure to comply with the needed documents will result to forfeiture of the said applicable warranties.
  2. The limited warranty is diminishing effective 2 years from the date of purchase.
    • For products with a 10-year lifespan
      • 1st – 2nd year : full replacement if proven to be defective
      • 3rd year : client payment of 10% payment from SRP
      • 4th year : client payment of 20% payment from SRP
      • 5th year : client payment of 30% payment from SRP
      • 6th year : client payment of 40% payment from SRP
      • 7th year : client payment of 50% payment from SRP
      • 8th year : client payment of 60% payment from SRP
      • 9th year : client payment of 70% payment from SRP
      • 10th year : client payment of 80% payment from SRP
    • For products with a 5-year lifespan
      • 1st – 2nd year : full replacement if proven to be defective
      • 3rd year : client payment of 30% payment from SRP
      • 4th year : client payment of 50% payment from SRP
      • 5th year : client payment of 80% payment from SRP
  3. Lead time to process warranty claims will be 10 working days from date of request.

NOTE: SEA Olympus Marketing, Inc. highly encourages our customers to comply with our policies and guidelines as they relate to the lead time in processing your warranty claims.
